Professional biography:

Dr Fisher graduated from Manchester University in 1989. She did her oncology training in Liverpool, Leeds and Sheffield taking up her consultant post in September 1998. She is involved in the delivery of the full range of non surgical treatments for thoracic malignancies. Her particular research interest is the treatment of mesothelioma. She established the Network Mesothelioma MDT in 2007. She has been the Clinical Director of the South Yorkshire Bassetlaw and North Derbyshire Cancer Alliance since April 2019.
